I took the Lifesystems Water "I took the Lifesystems Water Filter Purifier Bottle on a bike packing trip in Tajikistan. I'm sure it is thanks to the water filtration in the bottle that I didn't get ill once on the trip (whilst others around me did). I really like that it is easy to use as it filters while you drink and has a large 1000ml capacity which is essential in that environment. Add it to your kit "This is a great, and I do mean that in several ways, but of kit, tap water loses the chemical taste it often has, but, more importantly yes it makes water from streams safe, with that said I should add that use another reservoir to fill the bottle as you don't want cross contamination to occur, so if you're on a bit of a wild adventure or just doing DofE, can't go wrong with a litre of safe to drink water." — Simon F.
