Excellent kit for group exped "I bought this kit for multi-day Explorer Expeditions and I think it fits the requirement nicely. Good coverage on most of the items that I would realistically consider using. Kit is well laid out with good guides to help you find stuff. Only thing that I added was some plastic zip-lock bags for storing biowaste (like used sterile wips or plasters) during the exped." — Christopher H. (5/5)
Always difficult to leave a "Always difficult to leave a usefully informed review when item not yet used in anger, here are my thoughts so far. Note this based on owning and using a Lifesystems 1st Aid kit for over 20 years (at a rough guess) I like it’s layout, it’ll work when needed. It contains what it says on the tin, some of the contents seem a bit less robust / lacking in quality (but I’ve worked and used this kind of kit for years so maybe my expectations are too high) I’ll be swapping some of it out for more useful ’in the field’ kit… The case is very flimsy compared to the other (much older) Lifesystems case, I get a sense it won’t last as long but of course it does mean its a bit lighter 🤷♂️ Over the years I’ve put my own kits together but wanted something ‘off the shelf’ for ML in hindsight should have gone with my experience. Having said that if you don’t have experience beyond the usual 16hr FA and in the early days of training etc this will tick the box. (But you could put together the content for less ££ if DIY) As always though any FA kit is only as good as the operator so practice… I’ve given 3 stars just because it feels cheap compared to past Lifesystems kit… Its all personal, please make up your own mind." — alain c. Top product. "This is my third one of these. They’ve got pretty much everything I need and plenty space to add a couple of extra bits that I like to carry. First time buying directly and no complaints. Top product and top team. Thanks." — Hugh F. (5/5)
