Reduced itching / swelling when used to heal bites "This has been great on holiday here in Cape Verde. There don't seem to be loads of mosquitoes but I have been bitten a few times. (I didn't use this spray as a preventative measure, as I didn't fancy wearing it unnecessarily. I did use wrist bands so I think that's why I didn't get as many bites as I normally do when I go away !) I immediately rubbed this in upon noticing the bites and where usually, they itch like mad, this spray (with a few applications) has removed the itching and kept the size of the bites down. Level of DEET? "Unfortunately the formula change has resulted in me getting bitten by mosquitos for the first time since 2016. I traveled to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands in 2025 and thought I’d used an expired batch only to find out the level of DEET has been reduced.
