I’ve been looking for a small "I’ve been looking for a small size backpack for weekend and minimalist travelling and so far this doesn’t disappoint. It’s a lovely, deep aubergine colour and the waxed canvas looks more attractive than the usual synthetic fabric. Although it’s a neat design, (no loose hanging straps or protruding pockets etc), it has plenty of practical features – a separate laptop compartment which is also useful for storing documents, zipped side pockets, an internal compartment large enough to carry a week’s worth of clothes, plenty of internal organisational pockets as well as the RfiD security pocket. The only thing I miss is a key clip but it’s not really an issue. I particularly like the comfort while carrying a full load – soft, but supportive shoulder straps and just the right amount of padding on the back. Other bonuses include the short back length which is an ideal fit for my petite stature and the way the pack is ‘self’ standing (no more toppling over). Quality wise, I have a Lifeventure backpack I bought over 12 years ago and it’s still going strong!
