TiV stands for 'Thermally Induced Vacuum'. Used in all Lifeventure mugs and flasks, it's an efficient method of insulating containers to keep contents hot or cold. There is an airtight chamber between the core of the flask and the wall, from which air has been evacuated. With fewer air molecules in the vacuum cavity, it takes longer for heat to escape from the contents as the process of heat transfer is slowed.

COOLMAX® is made from 100% Polyester, its four-channel fibres provides excellent moisture management and wicking performance. COOLMAX® has exceptional cooling and drying properties, the fabric draws perspiration along its fibres, away from the skin, providing permanent moisture management performance. Our COOLMAX® liner is soft, breathable, comfortable and hardwearing.

The Lifeventure Cotton Stretch and THERMOLITE® Stretch sleepers are blended with Modal®, a natural high performance material, giving them the added benefit of increased breathability, absorbency, quick-drying properties and an irresistibly soft and stretchy finish. Modal® is a type of rayon, a bio-based textile made by spinning reconstituted cellulose made from beech tree pulp.

Lifeventure liners are treated with Polygiene Odour Control which means cleaning isn’t necessary every time you use them. When you do, our recommendation is that they are put inside a pillow case and washed as normal. 30 degrees would be best, but 40 degrees is okay.

TSA stands for Transport Security Administration. Some Lifeventure locks are TSA compatible which means that customs officers can open your locks without breaking them in the event that they need to inspect your luggage.

Yes, they should be fine if normal precautions are taken. Avoid washing the insulated, double walled Ellipse mugs in the dishwasher as steam could get in between the double layer and get caught in the chamber once it cools and converts back into water. Do not microwave the Insulated and Travel Ellipse mugs.
