The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is a youth awards programme founded by Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh in 1956, which has since expanded to 144 nations. The awards recognise adolescents and young adults for completing a series of self-improvement exercises modelled on Kurt Hahn’s solution to the "Six Declines of Modern Youth".
Several Lifeventure and Lifesystems products are specifically recommended by the DofE charity as the best choice for those taking part in their bronze, silver, or gold awards. We are proud to be working with DofE to provide high quality and reliable kit for such a diverse range of people all over the UK.
The DofE recognise that this is a difficult time for everyone, and if you are involved in doing or running the DofE in any capacity you may be looking for some answers. The DofE have created a hub where participants, Leaders and parents can find all the information and ideas they need during the coronavirus outbreak at #DofEWithADifference
