Made with a durable, water resistant canvas fabric treated with Ruco-Dry Eco Plus hydrophobic treatment, the Kibo RFiD travel backpack combines a heritage look with a hidden RFiD protected pocket, 25 litres of storage with a roll-top closure, internal slip pockets, a padded 13” laptop pocket and 2 bottle pockets. This backpack utilises an RFiD blocking material. This unique fabric acts as a barrier against RFiD signals, dramatically reducing the risk of identity theft from bank cards, credit cards or passports.
RFiD microchips can be found in most credit cards, passports and iD cards. They facilitate cash transactions or wireless identity checks from up to 10 feet away.
Identity thieves can use handheld RFiD readers which scan the radio frequencies emitted by each chip in order to gain access to your personal data.
